Environmentally friendly, NNY uses only alternative means of energy than fossil fuels. 

 

Windfarms are prominent in the countryside and coastlines of NNY. With an endless supply of free energy, the city is able to keep pollution to an absolute minimum. Solar power is also widely seen on top of the roofs of tall buildings and private housing. It is mandatory to at least have one solar panel on a house or building that somehow supplies the services inside. 

 

Another policy is that there is no landfill or incineration plant. All pollution is collected by the city services and then sent to the Garbage Jettison Facility, which will take the waste, pack it into a rocket. The rocket will then launch and take the waste into space and eventually burn up in the sun.
